Brontë Parsonage Museum
World renowned for the literary talent the Brontë sisters’ former home in the picturesque village of Haworth is now home to the Brontë Parsonage Museum and is owned and run by the Brontë Society, one of the oldest literary societies in the world, founded in 1893.
The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway
All aboard this heritage railway line which runs from Keighley to Oxenhope in West Yorkshire. We climb through the valley aboard our vintage train passing small Pennine villages on a line originally opened in 1867 to service 15 mills along its length.
You’ll never be short of things to do in this fascinating city with its tangle of narrow alleyways. The landmark minster is a masterpiece of stained glass windows and sculptured stone and an absolute ‘must see’. Sip a drink by the river, take a boat trip on the River Ouse or see the collection of trains at the National Railway Museum.
